​Assessing specialist can undertake IME assessment by going through our summaries without reading the full file materials, sometimes numbering into hundreds or thousands of pages. This often provides our doctors with independent unbiased opinion prior to seeing the patient. The specialist can then read the full file to explore full details of the file after making own impression.

​It is noted that individual choices of approach differ here. While some specialists prefer to read the full file prior to seeing the patient, others prefer a summary first and then read the full file prior to finalising the assessment report. Both options are compatible with the system we offer.
